Dr. Daniel Ramot is the cofounder and CEO of Via, a transportation network company that operates an application for ridesharing in major cities around the world. Prior to Via, Ramot built supercomputers designed to discover new pharmaceutical drugs at D. E. Shaw Research, and developed avionic systems for F-15s and F-16s for the Israeli Air Force. He has a PhD in neuroscience from Stanford University and is a graduate of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite Talpiot program. He was raised in Israel and Singapore, and currently lives in New York.
The Israeli Center for Addictions is an academic clinical center founded with the aim of leading the treatment of addictions, training professionals and promoting research, prevention and national policy in the field.
